At B M Engineering, quality begins on the shop floor, not just at final inspection. Our In-Process Inspection system ensures that defects are detected and corrected at the earliest stage — improving accuracy, reducing rework, and maintaining consistent product quality.

Key Features of In-Process Inspection:

• Operator-level inspection at every workstation using calibrated gauges and measuring tools
• Continuous monitoring of critical dimensions, surface finish, threads, and tolerance zones
• Use of control plans and inspection check sheets for every batch
• Random sampling and first-piece approval (FPA) at setup stage
• On-machine verification using digital calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, bore gauges, etc.
• Escalation to QC department in case of deviation from standards

This proactive approach to inspection helps us maintain tight dimensional control and ensures that parts move forward in the process only when approved at every stage.
